Tuna Potato Patties

The potato patties are crispy and delicious.

Tips: 1. Do not blanch the whole potato in boiling water. It is time consuming and hard to cook through.
2. Put the patties in oven lined with parchment paper. Bake at 180 C for 10 minutes. It is more health.
3. Serve with Thai style sweet chill sauce to enhance the taste.

Ingredients

  • Tune(can) 1/2 pc
  • Potatoe 2 pcs
  • Egg(beaten) 1 pc
  • Onion(chopped) 2 tbsp
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • SEASONING
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Ground Black Pepper(coarsely) some
  • Cornstarch 2 tsp

Method

Step 1

Rinse potatoes. Cut potatoes with skin into pieces. Blanch in boiling water until done(about 15 minutes). Peeled and mash potato pieces with fork.

Step 2

Flake tuna. Add mashed potato chopped onion egg and seasoning ingredients. Mix well . Shape mixture into balls.

Step 3

Heat frying pan. Add 2 tbsp oil. Add tuna mashed potato balls. Flatten into shape of patties. Pan-fry over low heat until both sides turn golden brown. Serve.
