Stir-fried Shrimp with Soy Sauce

The umami of shrimp, the aroma of soy sauce, fully exerted.

Ingredients

  • Frozen Shrimp 500g
  • Garlic(minced) 10g
  • Shallot(chopped) 10g
  • Red Chilli(chopped) 10g
  • Spring Onion(chopped) some
  • Oil 1 tbsp
  • SEASONING
  • Light Soy Sauce 2.5 tbsp
  • Sugar 2 tsp
  • Rice Wine 1 tbsp
  • Water 3 tbsp
  • Cornstarch 1 tsp

Method

Step 1

Cut away the feelers and legs of the shrimps. Back butterfly shrimps, devein and wash thoroughly.

Step 2

Wipe off the shrimps, stir with 1 tsp cornstarch.

Step 3

Heat up 1 tbsp oil in the pan. Pan fry the shrimp until medium well, then add and saute garlic, shallot and red pepper.

Step 4

Stir well the seasoning, add into the pan and cook until the sauce has thickened, sprinkle chopped spring onion. Serve.
