Spinach with Egg White and Chicken

Ingredients

  • Chicken Breast Meat(diced) 150g
  • Spinach(section) 450g
  • Egg White(beaten) 2 pc
  • Garlic(peeled, finely chopped) 2 cloves
  • Sugar 1 tsp
  • Oil 1.5 tbsp
  • MARINADE
  • Light Soy Sauce 2 tsp
  • Cornflour 1 tsp
  • Water 2 tbsp
  • SEASONING
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Sugar 1/2 tsp

Method

Step 1

Rinse and dice chicken breast meat. Mix with marinade ingredients and let stand for 1/2 hour.

Step 2

Remove roots of spinach. Soak spinach in water for 1/2 hour. Rinse and cut spinach into short sections. Add 1 tsp sugar in the boiling water. Put into boiling water and bring to the boil again. Drain spinach. Arrange on plate.

Step 3

Heat 1.5 tbsp oil in the wok. Add garlic and chicken breast meat. Stir-fry until fragrant. Add 2 tbsp hot water. Cook briefly until done. Add premixed seasoning ingredients and egg white. Stir until half set. Pour on top of spinach. Serve.
