Scrambled Eggs with Sliced Bitter Gourd

A healthy dish for everyone.

Tips: After adding beaten egg, swiftly stir until just set. Do not over-stir. This is to avoid losing the smoothness of the egg texture.


  • Bitter Gourd(sliced) 300g
  • Egg(beaten) 3 pcs
  • Garlic(peeled,finely chopped) 2 cloves
  • Oil 2 tbsp, 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Light Soy Sauce 1 tsp


Step 1

Use pinch of salt to rub the bitter gourd and leave for 10 minutes. Blanch the bitter gourd. Drain, then squeeze out juice by kitchen towel, set aside.

Step 2

Beat eggs. Add seasoning ingredients and mix well.

Step 3

Heat wok. Add 2 tbsp oil. Add sliced bitter gourd and minced garlic. Stir-fry over low heat for a while until sliced bitter gourd becomes tender. Add 1 tbsp oil. Add beaten egg. Gently stir until egg is set. Serve.
