Chocolate Souffle

The souffle is tradition France dessert.


  • Butter 20g
  • Plain Flour 10g
  • Milk 150ml
  • Dark Chocolate(melted) 50g
  • Vanilla Essence 1 tsp
  • Egg Yolk 2 pcs
  • Egg White 3 pc
  • Caster Sugar 20g
  • Icing Sugar some


Step 1

Preheat the oven to 200 degree. Brush on some butter onto 4 pieces of souffle cup.

Step 2

Melt the butter in low heat. Add in sieved flour and cook for 1 minutes. Remove from heat. Pour in the nelt and cook until reaching boiling point.

Step 3

Add in dark chocolate and vanilla essence. Remove from heat and cool down.

Step 4

Add egg yolk into (3) step and mix well. Place in a big bowl.

Step 5

Whisk the egg white until soft peaks form. Then, add in sugar and whisk until glossy. Pour into (4) step and mix well. Place the mixture into the souffle cup until 80% full. Place on the oven tray. Put in the oven and bake for 20 minutes until done. Remove and sprinkle with some icing sugar on top. ready to serve.
