Chicken with Sesame and Spring Onion Oil

Tender chicken, full of scallions.


  • Chicken(1kg) 1 pc
  • Garlic 5 cloves
  • Spring Onion 2 stalks
  • Ginger(sliced) 5 slices
  • White Sesame some
  • Chicken Powder 30g
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Sugar 2 tsp
  • White Pepper Powder some
  • Spring Onion some
  • Ginger(grated) some
  • Salt some
  • Oil 2 tsp


Step 1

Clean out the animal giblets from the chicken, then wash it and pat dry. Put the marinate on the chicken from inside out and marinade for 30 minutes.

Step 2

Toast the white sesame in a dry pan. Chop the spring onion and grate the ginger, add hot oil, then salt chicken powder. Mix well and set aside.

Step 3

Slightly pound the ginger slices and garlic cloves, stuff into the chicken with spring onion. Steam for 30 minutes in high heat.

Step 4

Cut the chicken into pieces once it is cooled down, sprinkle the sesame and drizzle with spring onion oil. Serve.
