Button Mushroom Pancake

Mushrooms are fragrant, high in protein and low in fat, and are ideal healthy foods.


  • Flour 1 cup
  • Egg(beated) 1 pc
  • Water 3/4 cup
  • Enaporated Milk 1/2 cup
  • Oil some
  • Button Mushroom (sliced) 1 cup
  • Chicken(diced) 3 oz
  • Carrot(diced) 1/2 cup
  • Green Peas 1/3 cup
  • Oil 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • White Pepper Powder some
  • Cornflour some


Step 1

Beat egg thoroughly. Add sifted flour, evaporated milk and water. Stir well until a smooth paste is formed. Allow to chill in refrigerator for 1 hour.

Step 2

Season chicken with salt, cornflour and white pepper powder. Mix well and scald. Scald carrot and green peas. Heat 1 tbsp oil. Then mix it with 1 tbsp flour. Shallow fry over low heat until fragrant. Add a suitable amount of hot water. Stir well to form a smooth paste. Fold in chicken, carrot, green peas, button mushrooms and seasoning. Blend well to form a filling. Allow to cool.

Step 3

Heat a flat pan. Brush oil and pour in a portion of paste. Fry to form a pancake wrapper. Take out and stuff with filling. Roll up to form pancake. Serve.
