Beancurd(Tofu) with Minced Pork in Nyonya Sauce

The method is Malaysia style. The layer of taste is rich.

Tips: 1. After beancurd(tofu) soak in salt water, it is not broken easy.
2. Handle cornstarch water


  • Beancurd(tofu) 400g
  • Pork(minced) 100g
  • Shallot(chopped) 1 tbsp
  • Ginger(chopped) 1 tbsp
  • Garlic(chopped) 1 tbsp
  • Water 200 ml
  • Oil 750ml, 2 tsp
  • Nyonya Sauce 1 tbsp
  • Broadbean Paste 1 tbsp
  • Chicken Powder 1 tsp
  • Salt 1/3 tsp
  • Sugar 1/2 tsp
  • Cornstarch Water some


Step 1

Heat the 750 ml oil in the wok. Cut the beancurd into square and deep-fry until golden brown. Set aside.

Step 2

Heat the 2 tsp oil in the wok. Saute the chopped shallot, ginger paste and garlic paste. Then, add in minced pork and seasonings. Pour in 200 ml water and cook until the pork done. Thicken the sauce with cornstarch water. pour onto the beancurd(tofu). Serve.
