Vietnamese Salad with Pomelo, Shrimp and Pork

Ingredients

  • Pomelo 400g
  • Shrimp(remove shell & vein) 4 pcs
  • Pork Belly 100g
  • Onion(shredded) 1/2 pc
  • Roast Peanut(crushed) 1 tsp
  • Deep-Fry Garlic 1 tbsp
  • Mint Leaf(chopped) 6 pcs
  • Salty Water 500ml
  • Lettuce some
  • SAUCE
  • Fresh Lime Juice 1 tbsp
  • Fish Sauce 1 tsp
  • Sugar 1 tsp
  • Chili(shredded) some
  • Garlic(minced) 1/2 tsp

Method

Step 1

Mix the ingredients of sauce well. Set aside.

Step 2

Remove shell and vein for shrimps. Put in boiling water until cooked

Step 3

Put the whole piece of pork belly in salty boiling water until cooked. Let it cool and slice 4 pcs.

Step 4

Shred the onion and chop mint leaf into small pieces.

Step 5

Place all ingredients into a mixing bowl and add the sauce mixture.

Step 6

Place lettuce on plate and put salad on top. Serve.
