Stir-fried Spicy Pork with Szechuan Style

The dish is China Szechuan.

Tips: Press with chopsticks to make sure there is no blood come out from the pork, this is done.


  • Flank Pork 120g
  • Green Bell Pepper 1 pc
  • Garlic(grated) 2 tsp
  • Crisphead Lettuce 120g
  • Spring Onion(sectioned) 2 stalks
  • Shaoxing Wine some
  • Oil 2 tbsps, 1 tbsp
  • Sweet Bean Paste 1 tbsp
  • Broad Bean Paste 30g
  • Sugar 1 tsp
  • Chicken Powder 1/2 tsp
  • Cornflour 1 tsp
  • Water 4 tbsp


Step 1

Cook the flank pork in water about 20 minutes until done. It can take out and soak in cold water immediately, drain, cut off the skin and slice the meat thinly.

Step 2

Cut the green bell pepper into wedges and the crisphead lettuce into squares.

Step 3

Heat 2 tbsps of oil in the wok to stir-fry the pork. When the pork curls. Then, put in the green bell pepper and stir-fry slightly. Scoop out the mixture and set aside.

Step 4

Heat 1 tbsp of oil in the wok with high heat. Saute garlic and pastes, sprinkle with the wine. Put the crisphead lettuce and stir-fry thoroughly. Then, add the seasonings, stirring well, Return the pork and green pepper to the wok and stir-fry until done. Finally, add the spring onion and mix well. Serve.
