Stir-fried Fresh Baby Squid with Fresh Plum

Ingredients

  • Fresh Plum(wash, deseed, sliced) 200g
  • Fresh Baby Squid(washed) 450g
  • Celery(wash, cut into small pcs) 100g
  • Oil 1 tbsp
  • SEASONING
  • Salt 1/3 tsp
  • Water 1 tbsp
  • Lemon Juice 1 tsp
  • Sugar 2/3 tsp
  • Cornflour 1/4 tsp
  • White Pepper Powder some
  • Garlic(chopped) 1 tsp
  • Shaoxing Wine 1 tbsp
  • Marinate for Squid
  • Ginger juice 1 tsp
  • Shaoxing Wine 1 tsp
  • Salt 1/4 tsp
  • Cornflour 1 tsp
  • White Pepper Powder some

Method

Step 1

Marinate squid for 1 hour with marinate. Mix all seasoning ingredients in 1 tbsp water for later use.

Step 2

Heat 1 tbsp oil in the wok with medium heat. Saute garlic, until fragrant, add fresh baby squid and splash wine, then stir in celery and fresh plum, stir- fry for 30 seconds.

Step 3

Add in seasonings. Stir-fry until done, Serve.
