Soy Sauce Chicken

The method is Chinese style, simply and delicious. 

Tips : 1. When stick insert the chicken, no bleed is done.
2. The cook time control cooked level.
3. The simply form : the leave bay replace cassia bark, star aniseed. the white wine replace rose wine.

Ingredients

  • Chicken(1.2 Kg) 1 pc
  • Dark Soy Sauce 250 ml
  • Light Soy Sauce 250 ml
  • Chinese Rose Wine 2 tbsp
  • Water 500 ml
  • CONDIMENTS
  • Rock Sugar 300g
  • Cassia Bark 2 strips
  • Star Aniseed 2 cloves
  • Ginger 1 slice
  • Spring Onion 2 sprigs

Method

Step 1

Rinse the chicken. Scald and drain well.

Step 2

Put all the condiments into a pot. Add light and dark soy sauce and water. Cook over medium heat until the rock sugar dissolves completely. Add rose wine and mix well.

Step 3

Put the chicken into the marinade from step 2. Cook over low heat for 8 minutes. Turn the chicken upside down and cook for another 8 minutes. Leave it to cool. Chop into pieces and serve.
