  • Beef(minced) 300g
  • Edam Cheese 100g
  • Onion 1/4 pc
  • Water 3 tbsps
  • Japanese Seven-spices Chili Powder some
  • Oil 1 tsp, 1 tbsp
  • White Pepper Powder 1/4 tsp
  • Light Soy Sauce 1 tbsp
  • Cornflour 3 tsps
  • Japanese Seven-spices Chili Powder some
  • Salt 1/4 tsp
  • Sugar 1/4 tsp


Step 1

Peel and chop the onion. Then, heat the 1 tsp of oil in the wok and stir-fry until golden brown, cool down and set aside. Cut the cheese into small cubes.

Step 2

Combine minced beef with the chopped onion and marinade, add water gradually and stir until sticky in consistency. Leave the beef in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.

Step 3

Divide the minced beef into 6 portions, and wrap the cheese cubes into the beef to form meatballs.

Step 4

Heat the 1 tbsp of the oil. slightly press the meatballs and pan-fry until done.

Step 5

Sprinkle with extra Japanese seven-spices chili powder when serve.
