Mutton in Casserole

The method is tradition Chinese style.

Ingredients

  • Mutton 800g
  • Deep-fried beancurd Stick 50g
  • Water Chestnut(peeled) 50g
  • Mushroom 30g
  • Ginger(sliced) 20g
  • Garlic(chopped) 1 tbsp
  • Leek 20g
  • Spring Onion(chopped) some
  • White Wine some
  • Sugar some
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Water 2 cups
  • Preserved Bean Paste 1 tbsp
  • SEASONING
  • Red Preserved Beancurd(chopped) 2 pc
  • Preserved Bean Paste 1 tbsp
  • Slap 1/2 pc

Method

Step 1

Soak the deep-fried beancurd stick and cut into pieces. Soak the mushroom. Then, mix it with ginger, spring onion, wine and sugar. Set aside.

Step 2

Chop the mutton into pieces. Poach and rinse. Set aside.

Step 3

Heat 2 tbsp oil to fry the leek, ginger, garlic, preserved bean paste. Then, add in the mutton. Pour in the wine, water,slap and chestnut, mushroom, red preserved beancurd and leek for 15 minutes. Ready to serve.
