Japanese Char Siu(Pork)

The cook method is Japanese style. It is match with noodle.

Tips : 1 It can soak egg together.

Ingredients

  • Pork Loin 900g
  • Ginger 2 pcs
  • Leek(green part) 2 pcs
  • Star Anise 2 pcs
  • Garlic 2 pcs
  • Japanese Soy Sauce 100ml
  • Sake 100 ml
  • Mirin Wine 50 ml

Method

Step 1

Put the pork loin, ginger and spring onion(sectioned), star anise and garlic into the pot. Then, boil for 1 hour and drain.

Step 2

heat the sake with mirin wine. After reaching boiling point, add in soy sauce.

Step 3

Put the pork into sake mixture and soak for overnight. Drain and cut in thick slices. Finish.
