Grilled Squid with Sour and Chili Sauce

Ingredients

  • Fresh Squid(large) 2 pc
  • MARINADE
  • Worcestershire Sauce 1 tsp
  • Shaoxing Wine 2 tsp
  • Light Soy Sauce 2 tsp
  • Fish Sauce 3 tsp
  • Sugar 2 tsp
  • DIPPING SAUCE
  • Fish Sauce 1 tbsp
  • Lime Juice 2 tbsp
  • Chili Ground 1 tsp
  • Dried Shallot 1 pc
  • Sugar 1.5 tbsp
  • Parsley some

Method

Step 1

Rinse, peel and core the squid. Marinate for 20 minutes.

Step 2

Rinse dried shallot and dice. Slice parsley into thin strips. Stir all dipping sauce ingredients evenly to form the dip. Dish and set aside.

Step 3

Preheat oven to 180 C for 10 minutes. Place squid to grill for 15 minutes, turn and grill for another 10 to 15 minutes until dried. Take out and cut into rings. Serve with sauce.
