Grilled Prawn

The marinate is Indian style.


  • Raw King Prawn 1kg
  • Yoghurt 100g
  • Oil 50ml
  • Garam Masala Powder 10g
  • Turmeric powder 5g
  • Red Chili Powder 10g
  • Celery Seed 10g
  • White Pepper Powder 10g
  • Garlic(fine grated) 10g
  • Ginger(fine grated) 10g
  • Lemon juice 10ml
  • Salt 5g


Step 1

Peel and devein the prawns, rinse and pat dry with paper towel.

Step 2

Mix the yoghurt, ginger, garlic, chili powder, pepper, celery seeds, turmeric powder, masala powder, mustard oil, lemon juice and salt.

Step 3

Marinate the prawns with mixture and keep in refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Step 4

Thread the prawns onto the metal skewer and barbecue or grill for about 5 ~6 minutes by turning both sides. Serve with lime, salad dressing.
