Green Papaya Salad with Squid

The salad is fresh taste and Thai style.

Tips: The papaya need slap to make soft.

Ingredients

  • Cucumber(sliced) 1/2 pc
  • Green Papaya 2 cups
  • Fresh Squid 1 pc
  • Salt some
  • White Pepper Powder some
  • Ginger(sliced) some
  • Peanut(chopped, baked) 2 tbsps
  • Cooked Dried Shrimp(chopped) 1 tbsp
  • SAUCE
  • Palm Sugar 2.5 tbsps
  • Lime Juice 2.5 tbsps
  • Fish Sauce 1.5 tbsp
  • Tomato(chopped) 1 pc
  • Parsley some
  • Red Chili some
  • Shallot(sliced) 3 pcs

Method

Step 1

Peel the skin of the green papaya. Then, shred the papaya. Drain and set aside.

Step 2

Remove the insteatine from the fresh squid and keep the whole piece of squid. Poach the squid with salt, white pepper powder and sliced ginger until done. Cool down and slice. Set aside.

Step 3

Mash the sauce ingredients and mix well. Then, mix with green papaya. Place on dish.

Step 4

Put the sliced cucumber around around the papaya. Then, place the sliced squid in a squid shape. Sprinkle with chopped peanut and cooked deied shrimps. Ready to serve.
