  • Oyster(shucked) 10 pcs
  • Self Raising Flour 120g
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Water 100ml
  • Oil 3 tbsp
  • Ginger 3 slices
  • Oil(for deep-fried) 750ml
  • For Clean Oyster
  • Cornflour 3 tbsps


Step 1

Oysters wash away the surface of the dirt carefully, and then placed in a bowl with 1 tbsps of cornflour lightly rubbing oyster body, and then rinse with water. Repeat this step 2-3 times to the oysters clean.

Step 2

Boil a pot of water and put in 3 ginger slices. After rolling the water into the washed oyster, take a cook for 3 minutes to pick up, drain moisture. Oysters are not too resistant to burn, otherwise they will shrink and be cooked.

Step 3

Mix self raising flour, salt and 100ml water, then add 3 tbsps oil for batter.

Step 4

Heat the 750ml oil to 180 C. Turn to low heat. Oyster dip the batter. Deep-fried Oyster with low heat until light brown. Set aside. Turn to high heat, re-deep-fried oyster for 10 seconds. Drain oil. Serve.
