Braised Spare Ribs with Honey and Garlic

Ingredients

  • Spare Rib(cut into pieces) 600g
  • Garlic(chopped) 1 tbsp
  • Honey 1 tbsp
  • Butter 1 tbsp
  • Chili(chopped) some
  • Spring Onion(chopped) some
  • Oil(for deep-fried) 750ml
  • MARINADE
  • Soy Sauce 1 tbsp
  • Shaoxing Wine 1 tbsp
  • Chicken Powder 1 tsp
  • Cornstarch 1 tbsp
  • White Pepper Powder some
  • Sesame Oil some

Method

Step 1

Rinse the spare rib and chop. Then, marinate it with marinade for 15 minutes. Deep-fry until 80% done. Remove and set aside.

Step 2

Heat 1 tbsp butter to saute the garlic paste. Then, add in honey. Put back the spare ribs and fry in medium heat for 1-2 minutes until the sauce reduced. Then, add in chili and spring onion. Serve.
